Original Hot Yoga 90 min

The original 26+2.  This is the most effective yoga practice on the planet!   Whether it is to de-stress, reshape your body, get rid of a stiff back, or to create greater joint mobility this class is for you. Good for everybody and every body.   Our professional, knowledgeable teachers will guide you, at your own pace, through this life changing class.  All ages (18+) and abilities welcome. 

Express Hot Yoga 60 min

 A 60 minute version of our Original Hot Yoga class.  This is a little more fast pace than our 90 min class and still a great alternative if you do not have time for a full 90 min class. 

Inferno Hot Pilates

Inferno Hot Pilates is a high intensity interval training class using the Pilates principal of control.  High intensity, low impact.  We guide you through this fun, energizing class with up beat music, low lighting and high motivation.  Come check it out- you'll be so glad you did! 

Yin Yoga

 Yin yoga is a quiet and simple practice, but not necessarily an easy practice.  Holding gentle postures for longer periods of time targeting the deeper tissues of the body, our connective tissues — ligaments, joints, bones and deep fascia rather than the muscles. Everyone welcome.  Practiced in a non heated room, low lighting and totally chill.  We offer pop ups of this class throughout the month. 60 - 75 or 90 minutes.

Sound Healing Gong Bath

 A Gong Bath is a unique type of sound practice that involves using therapeutic gong sounds and vibrations to bring about healing.  This practice is referred to as a gong bath because participants are bathed in sound waves. Check it out, we love it!

Tips for getting ready for your first class

We are thrilled that you've decided to join us.  We guarantee that a regular practice at the Falmouth Hot Room  will change your life in the most wonderful ways.  If you feel nervous or a little intimidated, no worries, many people feel that way initially. We have great teachers and such an amazing community, not to mention all of our  classes are designed for beginners, so know that with a little practice and experience, you'll quickly feel right at home. 

Drink plenty of water throughout the day  so that you're well hydrated before coming to class. Good hydration  supports the health function of all of your body's systems, and it makes  the heat feel comfortable rather than overwhelming. (Read more about  electrolytes)

Arrive 15 — 20 minutes early for your first class.  This gives us time for registration and orientation. Arriving early  ensures a stress free and relaxed beginning to your journey.

Don't think you have to get in shape before coming to class.  Come take your first class, and then take class as often as you  possibly can and you will quickly lose weight, get in shape, and feel  absolutely wonderful.  With the guidance of your teacher, simply  approach every posture to the best of your ability and you will receive  100% benefit.  You may feel challenged by the  class, everyone does. Always  work to your edge, but listen to your body and your inner wisdom. As a  beginner, never be afraid to sit down if you need to — it's normal.

During class nobody will look at you or judge you.  The teacher guide the class always with compassion and respect. NO need  to be self conscious. It's helpful to realize that people's focus is on  themselves, they are working too hard to even notice you.

Take your second class within 24 hours. The second class is the equivalent of 2 to 3 classes, and you will bypass much of the soreness you'd experience otherwise.

Make up your mind to take 10 classes as quickly as possible. Then no one has to tell you how good this yoga is for you. Your own personal experience will guide you.

Remember,  everyone had their very first  class here, even the people on the  front row who have been coming for years. They make it look easy  because they persevered, and you can too.
